From beginning to end, the Church is about Christ. The people worship Him. The Pastor works to please Him. He is Founder and Owner of the Church. And the work of the Church is to help people become transformed into His likeness. That means a life of purpose and focus; an adventuresome, abundant life. It is a way of love, joy, forgiveness, peace, grace, fairness, wellness, and holy wholeness. And you as Pastor get to be in the middle of action like that. Keep the Church centered on Christ and you will be amazed at what He will do. Watch the people grow. Watch outsiders become attracted to the community of faith. And watch yourself develop and grow as a Pastor.
